Clarifications on equipment scope and site conditions
Line capacity ratingsThroughput figures assume a single shift of eight hours with standard apple varieties. Higher-density fruit or multi-shift operation changes the effective output, so capacity is confirmed during the site survey rather than quoted as a fixed number.
Conveyor belt materialStainless steel mesh is the default for washing and drying stages. Polymer modular belts are offered for packing and inspection sections where quieter operation and easier cleaning matter more than heat resistance.
Optical sorter calibrationSorting thresholds for color, bruising, and size are set on-site using a sample batch from your current harvest. Recalibration is included before each new season, and the settings are stored per variety for quick switching.
Floor space and layoutEach line is drawn against your existing building plan before installation. Clearance for maintenance access, electrical cabinets, and washdown zones is part of the layout proposal, not an afterthought.
Integration with existing equipmentPepipommes lines connect to upstream washing tanks and downstream packing stations using standard transfer heights. Custom adapters are quoted separately if your current equipment uses non-standard dimensions.
Warranty and service termsWarranty covers mechanical and electrical components for twelve months from commissioning. Wear parts such as sorting belts and sensor lenses are excluded, and preventive maintenance visits are scheduled quarterly.
