These terms govern how you order, receive, and operate automated sorting machinery and conveyor systems from Pepipommes. They outline our responsibilities, your obligations, and the limits of liability for both parties.
Pepipommes supplies automated sorting equipment, heavy-duty conveyor belts, and associated control systems for apple processing and packing facilities. Each order is defined by a written quotation that specifies the equipment model, configuration, delivery terms, and installation scope. Services include site assessment, line layout planning, equipment delivery, installation supervision, and operator training. Any work beyond the quoted scope, such as structural modifications to your facility or integration with third-party systems, requires a separate written agreement.
An order becomes binding when both parties sign the quotation or purchase agreement. You are responsible for providing accurate facility dimensions, power supply specifications, and product throughput requirements before we finalize the line design. Upon delivery, you must inspect the equipment and report any visible damage within 48 hours. Acceptance of the equipment occurs when the installation is complete and the line passes the agreed performance test, which we conduct together with your operations team.
You must prepare the installation site according to the layout plan we provide, including floor leveling, power connections, and adequate clearance for maintenance access. Your staff must complete the operator training we offer before running the line at full capacity. You are responsible for routine cleaning, daily inspections, and following the maintenance schedule outlined in the equipment manual. Failure to meet these conditions may affect warranty coverage and safe operation.
We deliver equipment that meets the specifications in your quotation and complies with applicable food-grade safety standards for conveyor systems. We provide installation supervision by qualified technicians, operator training, and a documented maintenance schedule. During the warranty period, we repair or replace defective components caused by manufacturing faults or material defects. Warranty claims require proof of purchase and adherence to the recommended maintenance routine.
Pepipommes is not liable for indirect damages, lost production time, or spoilage of product caused by equipment downtime, unless the downtime results from gross negligence on our part. Our total liability for any claim related to a single order is limited to the value of that order. We are not responsible for damage caused by improper use, unauthorized modifications, lack of maintenance, or operation by untrained personnel. Force majeure events, including natural disasters, power outages, and supply chain disruptions, suspend our obligations for the duration of the event.
Either party may terminate a service agreement with 30 days written notice. If you cancel an equipment order before delivery, we may charge a restocking fee to cover incurred costs. We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in regulations or our service structure. The latest version will be posted on this page, and continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
